Lusail Palace
The Project entailed developing an Interior Concept for 2 Palaces for the Emir of Qatar. These palaces, designed by Sir Norman Foster, reflected a contemporary Islamic design with a rich play between clean surfaces and deep recessed overhangs and fenestration details. The Interior schemes had to reflect a similar contemporary interpretation of the Architecture ensuring a seamless transition from the outside to the inside and vice versa. The sheer monumental scale of the buildings translated into grand entrance foyers with large scale design features and sculptural objet, while maintaining intimate and residential proportions to the private family living areas.
